Bihar Amrit Bharat Train: Indian Railways is the fourth-largest rail network in the world and is constantly expanding. Elections are scheduled in Bihar this year, and ahead of that, the Railways has announced a new gift for the state. Seven new trains will start operating from Patna Junction, including three Amrit Bharat Expresses.
Amrit Bharat Express trains are very popular among middle-class travelers. Until now, a total of 12 Amrit Bharat Express trains were running. Amrit Bharat Express will run from Bihar to these three states
Three new Amrit Bharat Express trains have been launched from Bihar to Rajasthan, Bihar to Hyderabad, and Bihar to Delhi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged off these trains. These trains will provide direct connectivity from Darbhanga to Ajmer (Rajasthan), Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad (Telangana), and Chhapra to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal).
This initiative will further facilitate long-distance travel for passengers from Bihar and save time. The Amrit Bharat Express is already a popular train for general and middle-class travelers. The introduction of these three new trains will make travel from Bihar to Rajasthan, Telangana, and Delhi even easier and more comfortable.
Timings and Fare Information
Train No. 15293/15294 – Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli–Muzaffarpur Amrit Bharat Express will run once a week. The train will travel via Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, DDU, Prayagraj Chheoki, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, and Kazipet. It features comfortable seating, clean toilets, and more berth space. The train will cover the Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli distance in approximately 37 hours and 10 minutes. Its fares have been kept budget-friendly, although official figures are not available.
Train No. 19623/19624 – Madar–Darbhanga–Madar Amrit Bharat Express will run once a week and will make the long-distance journey from Bihar to Rajasthan comfortable and smooth. The train will travel via Kamtaul, Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Gomtinagar, Kanpur, Tundla, and Jaipur. It features comfortable seating, clean toilets, and ample berth space. The train will cover the Madar–Darbhanga distance in approximately 27 hours and 30 minutes. Its fares have also been kept budget-friendly.
Train No. 15133/15134 – Chhapra–Anand Vihar–Chhapra Amrit Bharat Express will run biweekly and will make the journey from Bihar to Delhi comfortable and smooth. The train will travel via Siwan, Thawe, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Aishbagh (Lucknow), and Kanpur. It features modern seating, clean toilets, ample berths, and air-conditioning. The train will cover the Chhapra–Anand Vihar journey in approximately 24 hours and 10 minutes.
