All the vacant posts of teachers in government schools will be filled. This announcement has been made today by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. CM Bhagwant Mann said on Thursday that all the vacant posts of Punjabi teachers in government schools will be filled on a priority basis so that the Punjabi language can be further promoted. Addressing a gathering during the state-level function organized on the occasion of Teachers' Day, the Chief Minister said that this is the time to promote the Punjabi language further.
The government committed to promoting the mother tongue
He further said that the state government is committed to promoting the mother tongue of every Punjabi and no stone will be left unturned for this. Mann also motivated the students to speak and write the Punjabi language so that they remain familiar with their heritage. The Chief Minister said that studies are being affected due to a large number of vacancies in the education department. For the first time in the history of the state, a mega parent-teacher meeting was organized in government schools across the state.
Treasure will be used for good
Mann further said that teachers are present to solve all the problems of the society. As a son of a teacher, he knows the problems of teachers very well and it is his duty to solve them. The state treasury belongs to the people and every penny of it will be used for the good of every section of the society.

Mann said that the government is emphasizing on big changes in the education system. It is regularly sending school principals and teachers to prestigious institutions in the country and abroad, so that they can enhance their expertise. The aim is to ensure that teachers can learn about the advanced practices of the education sector across the world.
The schools have been equipped with the latest technology to impart quality education, 'School of Eminence' has changed the destiny of the people of the state. Mann said that 158 students of government schools have cleared the prestigious JEE exam for the first time. He said that this is just the beginning, more such results will be seen in the coming days, for which the Punjab government is working hard.
