Google has made this feature available through the desktop interface and the Google app for Android and iOS. With this, the AI-based search facility has now been fully rolled out in India. The special thing is that this feature, powered by Gemini AI, is now being integrated with Google Lens as well.

Now, everyone will get the benefit of AI Mode.
Google said that the response of users to the initial version of AI Mode in India was very positive, after which the company decided to make it available to everyone. Now there will be no need to sign up in Search Labs to use this feature, although users must remain logged in to their Google account, this feature does not work in incognito mode or logout state.

What will users be able to do through AI Mode?

Although no additional new features have been added with this new rollout, now general users will also be able to use all the same features that were available only to Search Labs users till now.

On desktop: A new button will appear on the bottom left of the search field on the search results page, along with “All,” “Images,” and “News.”

On mobile: A new icon will appear in the Google app or Google Search widget, which has a magnifying glass and a shining star. Tapping it will open AI Mode.
