AI Browser: This web browser launched with AI support, will get inbuilt AI chatbot..

The browser company has launched its new AI-based web browser, named Dia. This browser comes with an inbuilt AI chatbot, which is capable of answering user queries by taking information from multiple tabs simultaneously. This launch comes at a time when the company announced the discontinuation of support for its first browser Arc eight months ago, as it was facing difficulties in mass adoption.
Available in early access for Arc users
Dia has been made available in beta version for Arc users first and is currently available for devices with Apple M1 or newer chipset running on macOS 14 or newer.
What is special about Dia?
Like Arc, it does not have vertical tabs, but traditional horizontal tabs are given at the top. The chatbot located in the right panel of the browser is part of the entire browsing experience. It can answer questions by taking information from all open tabs. This browser can summarize any webpage.
Apart from this, it can rewrite emails and messages. This browser can do things like summarizing YouTube videos and sharing timestamps, comparing products open in different tabs, creating charts and tables, and translating and explaining pages in any language.
History: A new experimental feature
The company has also introduced a new "History" feature, which is currently opt-in (voluntarily enabled). This feature allows users to ask questions about their previously opened tabs. Example: "What videos did I watch yesterday?" For this, the user will only have to type @History in the text field.
