With this scheme, the central government gives the youth an opportunity to work in the Indian Army. In such a situation, the process of soldiers recruited in the Indian Army in the year 2023 has been changed by the central government. Earlier there was a rally process for the recruitment of soldiers in the Indian Army. But in the year 2023, the central government has implemented the Agnipath scheme.

What is Agni Veer Yojana

The age of the soldiers recruited under Agni Veer Yojana ranges from 17.5 years to 23 years. Let us tell you that in other government jobs, age relaxation is given according to reservation. In the Indian Army, there is no provision for relaxation under reservation in this way. Earlier, all the soldiers recruited in the Indian Army were entitled to pension after retirement. But now the soldiers recruited under the scheme will be recruited for 4 years, out of which 75 percent of the soldiers will be retired after 4 years and only 25 percent of the soldiers will be able to serve the entire Indian service. The soldiers retiring after 4 years will be given about 12 lakh rupees after retirement.

How is the recruitment done?

Under the Agniveer scheme, there are physical tests and written tests for recruitment. In which there are multiple choice questions. In this, the online test for General Duty and Tradesman is of 100 marks.
