After the 8th Pay Commission, the salary of the Assistant Section Officer can be this much, you will be shocked to know!
The discussions of the 8th Pay Commission have intensified, and it is believed that after its implementation, there can be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees.

The biggest hope for lakhs of employees doing government jobs at this time is the 8th Pay Commission. Every employee's eyes are fixed on how much his salary will increase this time. Especially the employees of Level-6 (Grade Pay 4200), such as Assistant Section Officer (ASO), are eagerly waiting for this change.
At present, the basic salary of employees working at Level-6 is Rs 35,400 per month. But as the discussion of the 8th Pay Commission is intensifying, the curiosity to know the answer to this question is increasing - how much will the salary be now?
What is the fitment factor?
When a new pay commission comes, a coefficient is fixed to change the salary from the old structure to the new structure, which is called the fitment factor. In the 7th Pay Commission it was 2.57. Now according to sources for the 8th Pay Commission, this factor is expected to be around 1.92.
That is, if the current basic salary of the employee is multiplied by 1.92, then the new basic is formed. If someone's current basic salary is Rs 35,400, then multiplying it by 1.92, the new basic salary will be around Rs 67,968. That is, your basic salary can directly reach about 68 thousand rupees.
Not only the basic will increase in the salary, allowances will also be doubled
Along with the new basic salary, there will be a tremendous increase in allowances as well. The biggest part of this will be House Rent Allowance (HRA). If an employee is posted in a big city like Delhi, Mumbai, then he can get up to 30 percent of the basic as HRA. In such a situation, HRA on a basic salary of Rs 68 thousand can be around Rs 20,400.
Apart from this, employees also get travel allowance (TA). For big cities, it can be up to Rs 3600 per month. Whereas Dearness Allowance (DA) is initially made zero (0%) as soon as the new pay commission is implemented because its calculation is included in the new salary itself. With time, this allowance increases again, due to which the salary becomes more.
So how much will come in total?
If we add Rs 20,400 HRA and Rs 3600 TA to the basic salary of 68 thousand, then your total salary can be around Rs 92,000 per month. If we remove some deductions like PF, tax etc. from this, then the net salary in hand can be around Rs 82,000 to Rs 85,000.
