The central and state governments run various types of government schemes to help the poor and economically weaker people of their country and state, whose aim is to uplift these people, recently one such scheme was started by the Jharkhand government 'Abua Awas' scheme, which aims to provide three-room pucca houses to 20 lakh economically deprived families by 2027. Launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, this initiative is an important effort to address the housing shortage and improve living conditions across the state.

The houses under this scheme will include separate kitchens and toilets, ensuring basic amenities for each family. The beneficiaries received the acknowledgment letters during a formal event where Chief Minister Soren said, "Today, on the land of Aba Birsa Munda, I have the privilege of issuing housing acceptance letters to our beneficiaries.

We are determined to fulfill our promise to the poor of our state."

To qualify for the Abua Awas Yojana, applicants must be residents of Jharkhand and should not own a pucca house of their own. It is worth noting that beneficiaries of the PM Awas Yojana are not eligible under this state-specific initiative.
