In today's era, keeping your digital information safe is a big challenge. Today, when all your information is linked to Aadhaar and PAN number, cases of fraud have also started increasing. You do not even know that criminals commit fraud using your Aadhaar and PAN. In such a situation, action comes against you due to the use of your Aadhaar-PAN.

Recently, a case came to light in which a person received a tax notice of Rs 40 crore. Investigation revealed that someone had wrongly linked his number to his Aadhaar / PAN and registered a company in a fake name. To ensure that your identity is not misused, it is important that you check how many numbers are linked to your Aadhaar and PAN.

Check mobile numbers linked to Aadhaar like this.

To check the numbers linked to Aadhaar, visit the official website of Sanchar Sathi https://sancharasathi.gov.in.

Scroll down and click on the 'Know Your Mobile Connections' option.

Enter your Aadhaar and mobile number here and verify.
After this, you will see which numbers are linked to your Aadhaar.
If you see any unknown number, report it immediately so that the complaint of that number reaches the government and its use can be stopped.

Check the number linked to the PAN card.
A PAN card is required for everything from opening a bank account to getting a passport. In such a situation, fraud related to PAN numbers has also increased.
To check the PAN number, first go to the Income Tax Department website https://incometax.gov.in and log in.
After this, go to 'My Profile' and see Contact Details.
Here you can see which mobile number is linked to your PAN.
If the wrong number is linked, then complain about it to the customer care of Aadhaar and remove it and update the correct number.
