Aadhar Card Update: Attention! Update your Aadhar card for free till June 14, charges will be levied later

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar card issuing agency, has issued a notification. It is said that all those people who have 10 10-year-old or 10-year-old Aadhar card will have to update their Aadhar card before 14 June 2024. If you update your Aadhaar card before June 14, it will be updated free of cost.
But for updating after June 14, you will have to pay a fee. You can update your Aadhaar card by visiting the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) or by visiting your nearest Aadhaar center.
Will the Aadhar card become useless after June 14?
No, the Aadhaar card will not become useless after June 14. UIDAI said that 10-year 10-year-old Aadhaar card will have to be updated before June 14. If you update your Aadhar card before this date, it will be updated free of cost. But if you update your Aadhaar card after this date, you will have to pay a charge for it. If you get the update done through online mode, you will still have to pay the charge. Apart from this, if you go to the Aadhaar center to get the update done, you will still have to pay the charge. Therefore, the Aadhaar card will not become useless but will be updated without any fee.
