DOB details can be changed only once
If you want to change or correct your date of birth, then you will get this opportunity only once. That is, you will be able to change, update, or modify your date of birth on the Aadhaar card only once in your life.

Gender can also be changed only once
The Unique Identification Authority of India also permits you to change the gender (female or male) in the Aadhaar card. If you want to update your gender in the Aadhaar card, then this can be done only once in a lifetime.

For this, you will have to email the regional office of Aadhaar or help@uidai.gov.in. Then you will have to explain the reason why you want to do this. After this, you will have to provide the related details and their proof. The regional office of Aadhaar will do its due diligence. If it feels that your appeal is correct, then the regional office will approve it. If your appeal is not found correct, then approval will not be given.

Charge has to be paid.

For making any changes on Aadhaar, you also have to pay a small charge. Like for biometric update, you will have to pay Rs 100, while for demographic update, you will have to pay Rs 50. To download Aadhaar in color, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 30.
