This includes PAN cards, voter IDs, driving licenses, service ID cards, passports, etc. Not only this, if the user is going to change the name, then he will get only two chances. UIDAI has said (via) that the applicant will be given only 2 attempts.
At the same time, if you want to update your address or get a new enrollment done, then now the process has been simplified for this. For this, now the passbook of any public sector bank can also be presented. But for this, the applicants will also have to get a certificate from the bank branch manager, confirming that the address is recorded in the bank records and the e-KYC process has been completed.
The rules have become strict in the matter of correction of date of birth. For applicants below 18 years of age, only the birth certificate issued by the authorized state authorities will be accepted as proof. The passport and SSLC book are no longer valid for this.
