Losing your Aadhaar can cause a lot of stress, but fortunately, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides simple solutions to retrieve your Aadhaar card both online and offline.

You can retrieve your Aadhaar in several ways, including your Aadhaar number, enrollment ID, Aadhaar virtual ID or your registered mobile number or email. Here is how you can get a new Aadhaar card -

Steps to download e-Aadhaar

Through UIDAI website

Visit UIDAI website: myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.

Click on ‘Download Aadhaar’.

Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.

You will receive a 4-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’.

Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded in PDF format. Save the PDF for future use.

Using Google

mAadhaar app

Download the mAadhaar app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Open the app and sign in using your Aadhaar number and biometrics.

Go to ‘My Aadhaar’ and select ‘e-Aadhaar’ under ‘Download Aadhaar’.

Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click on ‘Submit’.

Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded in PDF format. Don't forget to save it!
