What if an essential document like your Aadhaar card is lost or stolen? And what if you don't remember your Aadhaar number and your Aadhaar is not linked to your mobile number? How can you recover it in such a situation? Today, we will tell you a method through which you can recover your lost Aadhaar without a mobile number.

How to recover your Aadhaar card?
Since your Aadhaar is not linked to your mobile number, and you don't remember your Aadhaar number, you won't be able to download it from home.

To recover your Aadhaar card, you will have to visit an Aadhaar enrollment center.

There, you will need to provide the 28-digit enrollment ID number that you received when you applied for your Aadhaar.

After that, the employee at the enrollment center will perform your biometric verification.

They will ask you for some basic details. After this, you will easily receive your e-Aadhaar. You will only have to pay Rs. 30 for this.

If your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar, you can easily download a new Aadhaar from home.

How to recover your Aadhaar card (if your mobile number is linked)?
Step 1 - For this, you need to go to the official UIDAI website.

Step 2 - Now go to the My Aadhaar section.

Step 3 - Then you have to click on Retrieve Lost or Forgotten UID/EID.

Step 4 - Now enter the requested information, such as your name, date of birth, and the mobile number or email linked to your Aadhaar.

Step 5 - You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number or email. Enter this OTP here.

Step 6 - As soon as you enter the OTP, all the details related to your Aadhaar will be displayed.

Step 7 - Your Aadhaar will also be sent to your email address.

You don't need to pay any fee for this.
