We all know that the Aadhaar card has become an important document for the Indian people, through which you can open a bank account, get a SIM card, gain admission in college, etc. One of the most important features of the Aadhaar system is to link your mobile number to your Aadhaar, because OTP (one-time password) sent to this number is often required to complete transactions and authenticate services. If you want to link a new number to Aadhaar card, then know its process-
In this article, we will tell you about the process of updating your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card.
Your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar for several reasons:
Authentication and OTP: To authenticate online services, you will need an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
mAadhaar app: The number linked to your Aadhaar card is required if you want to log in to the mAadhaar app.
Access to services: Many government schemes and services require an OTP to be sent to your registered mobile number.
If your linked mobile number is deactivated or lost, you will not be able to access these services, so it is very important to keep your mobile number updated in the Aadhaar system.
