A key highlight of this service is that it is being made available specifically in crowded market areas. The startup is named “CarryMen,” and its assistants help customers carry the goods they have purchased. Additionally, they assist with various other minor requirements that may arise during a shopping trip. Let’s explore this unique service in greater detail.
Facilities Offered Beyond Just Carrying Bags
This service goes beyond merely carrying a customer’s bags; it provides several additional amenities as well. If a customer feels tired while shopping, the assistant will even provide a folding chair right there in the market so they can take a rest. Furthermore, essential conveniences such as an umbrella (to offer protection from the heat or rain), mobile charging facilities, power banks, and drinking water are also included in this service package.
How Much Does It Cost?
Customers can avail of this facility for half an hour at a cost of ₹79. Alternatively, the rates are ₹119 for one hour, ₹199 for two hours, and ₹289 for three hours. Customers can select a package that best suits their specific needs. Throughout this duration, the assistant remains with the customer at all times, assisting with carrying bags, navigating between shops, standing in queues for food, escorting the customer to their parking spot or the nearest Metro station gate, and finding a place to sit whenever required.
A single assistant can carry a maximum weight of up to 12 kilograms. If the total weight of the shopping exceeds this limit, customers have the option to book an additional assistant. Currently, this service is available in Lajpat Nagar and is expected to launch in Chandni Chowk very soon. CarryMen Proves Helpful for the Elderly and Pregnant Women
