MP Train Cancellations: Due to ongoing railway construction work in April, the operations of several trains will be disrupted. Several key trains passing through Madhya Pradesh have been cancelled for a few days. Please check their current status.

MP Train Cancellations: Important news has emerged for passengers traveling by train. Travelers—particularly those journeying from Madhya Pradesh—may face some inconvenience during the month of April. The Railways has decided to temporarily cancel certain trains, a move that could impact the travel plans of many passengers. According to reports, development and infrastructure upgrade work is currently underway on Platform Number 3 at Gondia Station, located within the Nagpur Division of the South East Central Railway.

Due to this ongoing construction work, changes have been implemented regarding the operations of several trains throughout April. Some trains have been cancelled entirely, while others will be terminated prior to reaching their scheduled destinations. These changes will also impact several trains passing through Betul Station. Therefore, passengers are strongly advised to check their train’s status before commencing their journey.

The Reason Behind the Decision

According to the Railways, this decision was taken with the safety of passengers and the efficient operation of trains in mind. Work to upgrade the platforms and other infrastructure is currently in progress at Gondia Railway Station. During such construction activities, continuous work takes place in the vicinity of the tracks and platforms. Consequently, it becomes necessary to modify train operations for a limited period.

For this reason, certain trains have been temporarily cancelled. This will specifically affect six key trains that pass through Betul Station. The Railways has stated that this measure has been adopted to ensure passenger convenience and to facilitate the provision of improved train services in the future. Once the construction work is completed, normal train operations will be fully restored.

The Following Trains Have Been Cancelled:

• Train Number 18237 (Bilaspur–Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express) will remain cancelled from April 5, 2026, to April 25, 2026. Train Number 18238 Amritsar–Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh Express) will remain cancelled from April 7 to April 27, 2026.
• Train Number 12410 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Raigarh (Gondwana Express) will remain cancelled on April 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 22, 2026.
• Train Number 12409 Raigarh–Hazrat Nizamuddin (Gondwana Express) will remain cancelled on April 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, and 24, 2026.
• Train Number 12807 Visakhapatnam–Hazrat Nizamuddin (Samata Express) will remain cancelled on April 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, and 30, 2026.
• Train Number 12808 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Visakhapatnam (Samata Express) will remain cancelled on April 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, and 25, 2026.
