According to the latest report of Wabeatinfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.7 update available on Google Play Store has revealed that Meta-owned WhatsApp is rolling out QR Code feature for channels.

How will it work?

As the name of the feature suggests, users will now be able to view and follow the channel by scanning the QR code. A screenshot has also been provided in the report. The channel's QR code is visible in it. It is written below the QR code that if the channel's code is shared with someone, they can scan it through their camera. Upon scanning, they will be able to view and follow the channel.
