The WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.4.25 update available on the Google Play Store has revealed that the company is working on bringing the feature of editing stickers for status updates. Currently this feature is in the development phase.

After the arrival of this feature, there will be a facility to edit the shape of the sticker photo before adding it to the status update. WhatsApp users will be able to edit the shape of the sticker photo by selecting it from a predefined set of shapes.

These shapes include two rectangular options (landscape and portrait), a square, a circle, a heart and a star. Rectangular and square shapes can be used especially to create a collage-like effect, allowing users to put multiple photos inside a single status update.
