A major update for those traveling to Jharkhand: Several trains have been canceled, so be sure to check their status before traveling.

Train Cancelled News: Millions of people travel by train every day in the country. Whether it's for office hours, college, or to a major city for medical treatment, the railways remain the largest transport network. In such a situation, sudden cancellations or route changes on any route disrupt the plans of thousands of travelers.

A similar update is currently available for passengers traveling to Jharkhand. Several trains passing through Tatanagar have been temporarily rescheduled. This will directly impact daily travelers on the Adra, Asansol, Gomoh, and Dhanbad routes. Daily commuters will definitely face inconvenience. Therefore, be sure to check the train status before traveling.

These trains have been suspended.

Railways have completely cancelled some MEMU trains originating in Jharkhand on the scheduled dates.

• Train No. 68045/68046 Asansol Adra Asansol MEMU will not run on February 24 and 25.
• Train No. 68077/68078 Adra Williamnagar Adra MEMU will be cancelled on February 26 and March 1.
• Train No. 68090/68089 Adra Medininagar Adra MEMU will not run on February 23, 24, 26, 27, and March 1.
• Train No. 63594/63593 Asansol Purulia Asansol MEMU is also cancelled on February 24 and 25.
• Train No. 68053/68054 Adra Barabhum MEMU will not run on February 23.

Some trains have been shortened.

While the Railways has cancelled some trains, others have been short-terminated instead of canceling them completely.

• Train No. 18019/18020 Tatanagar Jammu Tawi Express will run only as far as Bankura on February 23 and 24, and will not continue further to Dhanbad.
• Train No. 13503/13504 Bokaro Hatia MEMU will operate only as far as Gomoh.
• Train No. 68056/68060 Tata Asansol Barabhum MEMU will run only as far as Adra on February 26, 28, and March 1.
• Train No. 63594/63593 Asansol Purulia MEMU will also run as far as Adra on February 23.

This train will operate via a changed route.

Tatanagar Hatia Express 18601 will operate on a changed route on February 24, 25, and 28. It will operate on a different line than the normal line, which may slightly increase travel time. Passengers traveling to Ranchi or Hatia will especially need to stay updated. The Railways advises them to check the real-time status through the NTES app, the 139 helpline, or the station enquiry before leaving the station.
