**Financial Assistance Details**

The government will provide a subsidy of 50% of this amount, i.e., ₹11.80 lakh. This fund will be disbursed in two installments. You are required to invest only 15% of the total cost yourself. The remaining 35% can be covered through a bank loan. If you have the funds, you can start the venture without a loan; however, you must present a certified bank account statement covering the last six months.
**Special Provision for Women**
A 50% quota under this scheme is reserved for women livestock rearers and women involved in milk production. This means half of the allocated units will go to women, enabling them to become self-reliant.

5. To ensure the cows receive sufficient green fodder throughout the year, you must submit an affidavit stating that you have entered into a tie-up or agreement with local fodder-growing farmers or suppliers.
