Beyond these financial issues, special discussions are taking place on improving the employees' working environment.

**The Reality of the Fitment Factor**
Lately, various claims regarding fitment factors—such as 2.15, 2.28, or 2.57—are circulating on social media, with calculations often being presented to explain them. However, it is crucial for employees to understand that the government has not yet officially approved any specific figure. Historically, the fitment factor was set at 2.57 under the 7th Pay Commission, whereas it was 1.86 under the 6th Pay Commission.
