880 Candidates Disqualified in RPSC Senior Teacher Exam 2025; 1,217 to Undergo Scrutiny
The RPSC has released the results for the Social Science paper of the Senior Teacher Competitive Examination 2025. The Commission has provisionally included 1,217 candidates in the ‘consideration list’ for eligibility verification.
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the results for the Social Science paper of the Senior Teacher Competitive Examination 2025. A total of 1,217 candidates have been provisionally included in the consideration list issued by the Commission for document verification and eligibility checks. Meanwhile, 880 candidates have been declared disqualified for failing to adhere to the prescribed rules regarding marking answers during the examination. Candidates included in the consideration list are now required to submit a detailed application online. The link for this purpose will remain active from October 15 to October 21, 2026. Candidates must submit their applications by 11:59 PM on October 21. Subsequently, the relevant Secondary Education Department will verify the documents. The Commission has clarified that this consideration list is not the final selection list; the final result will be declared after the document verification process.
According to the RPSC, it is mandatory for all 1,217 candidates included in the Social Science consideration list to fill out a detailed application form online using their SSO ID. To do this, candidates must log in to the Rajasthan SSO portal, navigate to the recruitment portal, and apply via the recruitment section. Candidates are advised to enter all information accurately in the application form and follow the instructions issued by the Commission.
Education Department to Verify Documents
The verification of the detailed application forms and documents of the candidates included in the consideration list will be conducted by the relevant Secondary Education Department, not by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. The Department will inform candidates about the date, time, and venue for document verification. Candidates must appear for the verification process in accordance with the scheduled program. Candidates must bring two copies of the detailed application form, along with all original documents and self-attested copies thereof. The Commission has clarified that it will not issue separate notifications for document verification; candidates must pay attention to announcements made by the concerned department in this regard.
Candidature to be cancelled if verification does not take place
According to the Commission, candidates who fail to appear for document verification on the scheduled date may be declared ineligible. Furthermore, if a candidate does not meet the educational qualifications, experience requirements, or other eligibility criteria specified in the recruitment advertisement, their candidature may be cancelled. Upon completion of the document scrutiny, the concerned department will forward the list of eligible candidates to the Commission. Subsequently, the Commission will declare the results, and the names of selected candidates will be sent to the relevant department for appointment. A candidate’s eligibility and final selection will be determined only after the document verification process is concluded in accordance with the applicable rules.
Why were 880 candidates disqualified?
The RPSC stated that 880 candidates appearing for the Senior Teacher Examination 2025 (Social Science subject) were disqualified for failing to fill in their answers correctly as per the prescribed rules. Examination instructions required candidates to select one of the five options provided for each question; candidates who left more than 10% of the questions blank—selecting none of the five options—were deemed ineligible. The Commission disqualified these 880 candidates based on this rule. Essentially, it was mandatory for candidates appearing for the exam to adhere to the instructions provided in the question paper.
