If the Dearness Allowance Hike is increased by 3 percent, then the total DA will increase by Rs 540 to Rs 10,080. This will directly benefit the salary of the employees.

When will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?

Currently, government employees are getting the benefit of the 7th Pay Commission. The government implements a new pay commission every ten years. The 7th Pay Commission was last constituted in the year 2014, its recommendations started in the year 2016. According to that, the tenure of the 7th Pay Commission is ending in December this year. In such a situation, the government can implement the 8th Pay Commission in January 2026. However, the government has not yet given information about its terms and members.
