Delhi Traffic Advisory: A major film festival is scheduled to take place in Delhi from March 25 to March 31, 2026. This event will be held at Bharat Mandapam, where a large turnout is expected. With this in mind, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure the smooth flow of traffic across the city. The Traffic Police shared this information on their official social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to enable the general public to remain alert in advance. Let's find out when and where the impact will be felt:

Dates and Timings for the Traffic Plan
According to the Traffic Police, these special arrangements will be in effect daily from March 25 to March 31, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. During this period, traffic movement in the areas surrounding the venue will be under special surveillance, and restrictions will be imposed as deemed necessary.

Roads Most Affected
During the festival, traffic congestion is expected to increase significantly, particularly on Mathura Road and Bhairon Road. Parking will be strictly prohibited on both of these roads. If any vehicle is found parked improperly in these areas, it will be immediately towed away, and a fine will be imposed. Towed vehicles will be impounded at the Traffic Pit located opposite the Bhairon Temple, which may cause inconvenience to vehicle owners.

Parking and Entry Information
Two main entry gates have been designated for attendees visiting the festival:

Gate No. 4 (Bhairon Marg)
Gate No. 10 (Near the Metro Station)
Additionally, special arrangements have been made for parking:

Basement Parking No. 1 (Entry via Bhairon Marg)
Basement Parking No. 2 (Entry via Mathura Road)
Surface Parking: Bhairon Temple and National Stadium
If vehicles are parked at locations other than those specified above, they will be towed to the Traffic Pit situated opposite the Bhairon Temple, and a traffic challan (fine) will be issued.
