25 trains from Jaipur to Delhi cancelled; Railways cites technical glitch

Railway routes are being disrupted due to a scheduled protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Following similar announcements in UP and Bihar, the Railways has now announced the cancellation of 25 trains originating from Jaipur station.

Several major railway routes across the country are facing disruptions due to the protest scheduled in Delhi on October 10. In this sequence, 25 trains arriving from Jaipur have also been cancelled. The Railways has cited technical issues as the reason for this decision.

North Western Railway (Jaipur) has cancelled trains bound for Delhi. This affects approximately 25 trains passing through Rajasthan and Haryana; all these trains belong to the North Western Railway zone.

Trains to remain cancelled

Two trains scheduled for October 9 have been cancelled, while approximately 23 trains scheduled for October 10 have also been cancelled. Here is the list of these trains:

Train No. 12964 (Udaipur City - Hazrat Nizamuddin), scheduled to run on October 9, has been cancelled.
Train No. 14727 (Sri Ganganagar - Tilak Bridge), also scheduled for October 9, has been cancelled.

Trains to remain cancelled on October 10

Train No. 15308 (Sirsa - Tilak Bridge) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 12963 (Hazrat Nizamuddin - Udaipur City) has been cancelled for October 10.

Train No. 14738 (Tilak Bridge - Bhiwani) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 14737 (Bhiwani - Tilak Bridge) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 14728 (Tilak Bridge–Sri Ganganagar) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 74004 (Rewari–Delhi) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 54414 (Rewari–Delhi) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 54421 (Delhi–Rewari) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 54310 (Hisar–Delhi) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 54424 (Hisar–New Delhi) will not run on October 10.

Train No. 54423 (New Delhi–Hisar) will not run on October 10.

Technical Snag Cited

Although the Railways has stated that these trains are being cancelled due to a technical snag, the decision has actually been taken in light of a protest scheduled to take place in New Delhi on October 10. This follows the earlier cancellation of several trains arriving from regions such as Bihar, UP, and Patna.
