12-Platform Railway Terminal to be Built in Noida; No More Hassle of Traveling to Anand Vihar or Delhi

Bodaki Railway Terminal, Greater Noida: A modern railway terminal is being developed on over 46 hectares of land in Bodaki. Plans are in place to connect it with the Namo Bharat and Metro networks, thereby reducing the need to travel to Delhi or Ghaziabad.

If you reside in Noida or Greater Noida and frequently travel to Delhi or Ghaziabad to catch a train, your commute could soon become much easier. A major railway terminal currently under construction in Bodaki, Greater Noida, is set to transform the region's rail connectivity. A terminal featuring 12 platforms and modern amenities is being developed here.

The project is envisioned not merely as a railway station but as a multi-modal transport hub. Preparations are underway to integrate the terminal with Metro, Namo Bharat, and bus services. The primary benefit will be a reduced reliance on Delhi or Ghaziabad for passengers from Noida and Greater Noida looking to catch long-distance trains.

Bodaki Railway Terminal to Feature 12 Platforms

The new terminal is being developed near the existing railway halt in Bodaki, Greater Noida. More than 46 hectares of land have been earmarked for this project. It will be located approximately 3 kilometers away from the Greater Noida Authority office.

Plans include the construction of a total of 12 platforms at the terminal.
Yard facilities and loop lines will be developed here.
The terminal is designed to facilitate the operation and maintenance of over 100 trains daily.
The station building will be a two-story structure.
In addition to standard railway amenities, facilities such as hotels, restaurants, and other commercial services will be developed for passengers.

Potential Expansion of Rail Connectivity from Lucknow to Kolkata

Once the Bodaki terminal is completed, rail connectivity from Noida and Greater Noida to several major cities is expected to expand significantly.

Terminal to be connected via Metro and Namo Bharat

Instead of developing Bodaki solely as a railway station, plans are underway to integrate it with various modes of transport. A metro line spanning approximately 2.6 kilometers is being developed to connect the Aqua Line's Depot station to Bodaki. Additionally, there are plans to connect Jewar Airport to Bodaki via the Namo Bharat service and the metro.
