Zoho Pay: A new digital payment app coming to compete with Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe..

The digital payments sector may soon see new competition. Business software giant Zoho is entering this market with 'Zoho Pay'. This app will provide users with a simple and secure transaction experience. Notably, it will not only be a standalone app but will also be integrated into Zoho's messaging app, 'Arattai'.

Zoho Payments Tech CEO Sivaramakrishnan Eswaran explained that Zoho Pay aims to allow users to send, receive, and make payments seamlessly. He said, "Users will experience transactions without leaving the chat, making digital payments even easier."

The company already offers point-of-sale and business payment solutions. Zoho is now planning to expand this service even further. Additionally, the company is launching a new invoicing and subscription management platform called Zoho Billing. Meanwhile, work is underway to create a complete financial system by connecting Zoho Payroll with banks. This will provide small businesses with integrated services ranging from payment collection to cash flow and automated payroll.

Zoho Pay is currently in internal testing, and the company plans to roll it out in phases over the coming months. Initially, it will be integrated into the Arattai app, and later, it will be launched as a standalone app.
