YouTube is currently testing two new features for its users: 'Auto Speed' and 'On-the-Go.' Both of these features are currently available exclusively to YouTube Premium subscribers. As you may already know, YouTube Premium offers the ability to watch videos without ads, along with early access to certain new and experimental features.

The 'Auto Speed' feature is particularly beneficial for those who wish to consume more content in less time. This feature automatically adjusts the playback speed of a video—either increasing or decreasing it—while it is playing. This means you will no longer need to manually adjust the playback speed repeatedly. YouTube states that this feature will save you time while ensuring that you can still easily comprehend the video content.

To enable this feature, you must navigate to the video's playback speed settings, where the new 'Auto Speed' option will appear. However, please note that this feature will not work on every video; for videos that do not support it, the option will remain disabled or hidden.

How does the 'On-the-Go' feature work?
The second feature, 'On-the-Go,' is designed specifically for users who watch videos or listen to podcasts while they are on the move. This feature switches the video into a mode that minimizes on-screen distractions. In this mode, elements such as comments and other visual components are hidden, allowing you to focus solely on the content itself.
