You can set who can see your WhatsApp status and who can't. The process is very simple.

WhatsApp has added a new feature. Your status will be visible only to your contacts, and you can also exclude certain people and groups.
Sharing your status on WhatsApp has become a part of our daily routine. But do you know who can and cannot see your WhatsApp status? If you want to limit your status to certain people or keep it hidden from others, these settings are very useful. Your status will only be visible to your contacts, and you can also exclude certain people and groups. Whichever you choose, your status will only be shared with the people you want. You can control the privacy of your status yourself with a simple process. Let's learn how to set it.
How to Set
- First, go to your WhatsApp Settings.
- In Settings, go to Privacy.
- In Status, go to My Contacts.
- Doing so will open the Status Privacy section, where you'll be asked who can see my status updates. You'll have three options:
- The first is "My Contacts," the second is "My Contacts except," and the third is "Only share with."
- Now, select "My Contacts except." This will bring you to a contact list, where you can select the person you want to hide your status from. They will no longer be able to see your status.
In-App Chat Translation Feature
WhatsApp is rolling out a major update for users. Users will now be able to translate chats directly within the app. This new feature, called "Real-Time Message Translation," is available on both Android and iOS platforms. According to Meta, this feature will help bridge language barriers for WhatsApp's more than 3 billion users worldwide. iPhone users will find this feature in over 19 languages, while on Android, it will initially be available in English, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic.
