Website Users Affected
According to Down Detector, approximately 64 percent of users reported problems with the website, while 23 percent reported issues with the app. 13 percent of users said they were experiencing difficulties logging in or out. The highest number of reports of X being down in India came from Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

The X website was experiencing problems refreshing pages. According to users, refreshing the page displayed the message "Something went wrong. Try reloading."

Instagram Also Went Down
It's worth noting that on the morning of February 5, Instagram was also down for a short period worldwide. This outage primarily affected users trying to access Instagram via computers or browsers. According to data from the tracking website 'DownDetector', by 7:00 AM IST on Thursday, more than 10,000 users had reported this problem. However, Instagram's parent company, Meta, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the cause of the outage.
