From iOS 27 to a Smarter Siri: Expect It All
On the software front, WWDC26 will offer a preview of the 27th generation of Apple's operating systems: iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, visionOS 27, and watchOS 27. The biggest highlight is the long-awaited arrival of a smarter version of Siri. Reports suggest that Apple is currently developing a chatbot version of Siri—internally codenamed "Campos"—designed to compete directly with ChatGPT and Gemini. While Siri's familiar trigger mechanism will remain intact, a comprehensive conversational interface will be layered on top of it.

As for iOS 27, this new operating system for iPhone users is expected to place a strong emphasis on stability and impressive new features. Additionally, the company is working on the OS to eliminate bugs and further improve battery life. Speaking of macOS 27, this operating system will completely discontinue support for Intel-based Macs.

Both the Mac mini and Mac Studio could receive M5 series chip upgrades; if the company does not release them before June, WWDC presents an excellent opportunity.
