If you're an iPhone user and use WhatsApp, there's a new feature for you. WhatsApp has introduced this feature to make your Status more interactive. Users can now add a reaction sticker directly to their WhatsApp Status, which anyone can tap to instantly react to. This feature works similarly to Instagram Stories and allows users to provide feedback with one click. However, this update is currently only available to select iOS beta testers.

Add Emoji Stickers Directly to Status
According to a report by WABetaInfo, iOS users can now publish their Status photos or videos by adding any emoji sticker to their Status. When a viewer opens the Status, the emoji is clearly visible, and a reaction can be sent with just a tap. This feature eliminates the need to open menus, swipe, or search for hidden options. This makes creating Status reactions easier and faster than ever.

Enjoy Instagram-like fun
This feature works much like Instagram Stories, where creators add emoji stickers to encourage viewers to reply. This sticker is also directly visible to viewers on WhatsApp, potentially increasing engagement. Importantly, any reaction can only be seen by the user who posted the status. This means the entire process remains completely private, and no third party receives any information.

Option to Choose Custom Emojis
WhatsApp also allows users to choose their preferred emoji for the sticker. The default emoji is heart-eyes, but users can choose laughter, fire, shock, or any other emoji to enhance the mood of the status. However, this feature has currently only been released to select testers on WhatsApp iOS beta v25.35.10.70. It will be made available to more iPhone users in upcoming updates.
