The year 2025 is coming to an end, and we are ready to welcome the new year 2026. To make this occasion even more special, WhatsApp has introduced a new sticker pack. Now you don't need to type long texts or go to a third-party app. You can directly send your wishes to your friends and family through WhatsApp's new stickers. The platform has released an animated sticker pack called 'Happy New Year 2026', which you can send in chats or even use in your status.

What's special about the new sticker pack?
This new animated sticker pack contains a total of 14 stickers, and its file size is only 488KB. If you don't see this pack in your WhatsApp, update your app immediately from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After the update, these stickers will appear in the sticker section within the chat.

How to send 'Happy New Year 2026' stickers on WhatsApp?
You can send New Year wishes by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Open WhatsApp and go to the chat where you want to send the sticker.
Step 2: Tap on the 'sticker icon' in the message bar.
Step 3: Look for the 'Happy New Year 2026' sticker pack at the bottom of the sticker tray.
Step 4: Open the pack, select your favorite sticker, and send it.

You can also use these stickers in your WhatsApp status. To do this, select a photo for your status, tap on the sticker option, and choose a sticker from the 'New Year 2026' pack and post it.

Create your own New Year images with Meta AI
In addition to stickers, WhatsApp users can also create New Year images using Meta AI. To do this, open a chat and tap on the 'paperclip icon'. Select the 'Imagine' or 'AI Image' option. Simply type a prompt like "Happy New Year" there. The system will generate several images for you, from which you can choose your favorite and send it.
