The WhatsApp Plus subscription has been rolled out to a select group of users. Under this service, users will be able to access premium features by paying a monthly fee. Read on to learn the details regarding the subscription's pricing and features.
Meta announced some time ago that a new paid service would soon be introduced on WhatsApp. Through this service, WhatsApp users would gain access to several exclusive features. According to the latest leaked reports, this paid WhatsApp service will be launched under the name "WhatsApp Plus subscription." Reports suggest that the instant messaging app has already rolled out this feature to a few beta testers. A screenshot of the feature has also been shared in the report. The screenshot displays the monthly price of WhatsApp Plus as well as a list of its premium features. Let's take a look at all the details associated with this update.
A recent report by WABetaInfo reveals that the WhatsApp Plus subscription plan has been rolled out to a limited number of beta testers. This subscription plan is priced at €2.49 (approximately ₹274.03) per month.
As mentioned earlier, the report also includes a screenshot of the feature. This screenshot not only reveals the price of the paid subscription but also provides details regarding several of its premium features. The new WhatsApp Plus subscription plan will allow users to send "Premium Stickers." Additionally, paid subscribers will have the ability to customize the app's theme independently. Furthermore, users will be able to select custom app icons.
Beyond these features, these users will have the capability to pin a significantly higher number of chats. While standard users can typically pin up to three chats in their WhatsApp, Plus users will be able to pin not just one or two, but up to 20 chats simultaneously. Additionally, Plus users will be given the option to set premium ringtones.
It is important to note that the Plus subscription has currently been rolled out to only a limited number of users; the company has not yet released it fully to its entire user base. After beta testing, this feature will be rolled out to all users.
