YouTube is testing a new feature. This feature will allow you to send messages directly from YouTube. Users will no longer need WhatsApp or other apps to share videos.
You no longer need apps like WhatsApp or Telegram to share YouTube videos. Google is testing a new feature that will allow you to send messages directly from YouTube. Currently, sharing a YouTube video requires pasting a link into an app and then sending it to the other user, but this will change soon. YouTube's goal is to encourage people to stay on its platform for as long as possible and avoid the need for other platforms to send messages.
Testing is underway here.
On YouTube's support page, the company stated that it is currently testing this feature in two regions. It has just begun and has been rolled out to some users in Poland and Ireland. According to reports, the scope of this testing may soon be expanded and the feature will be tested on more users. However, with only a few weeks left before the end of this year, this feature could be launched for all users by next year.
Messages Can Be Scanned
YouTube hasn't provided much information about this feature, but some information about its policies has been revealed. Messages sent on YouTube can be reviewed based on policy guidelines. Messages that violate the policy can be blocked.
Ask Feature Also Under Test
YouTube is currently testing another feature called Ask. This feature will make the video viewing experience smart and interactive. This feature will allow you to ask questions about the video, as well as view its summary and bullet points. You'll also be able to take quizzes based on the video's content.
