If you use WhatsApp, many tasks are about to become easier. The company has announced several updates that will make it easier to use. Users will also have more personalization options. Live and motion photos can now be shared through WhatsApp. Additionally, users will be able to create custom themes and backgrounds with the help of AI. Let's find out what updates WhatsApp has brought for its users.

Live Photo Sharing

Android users will now be able to share motion pictures, and iPhone users will be able to share live photos through this app. Until now, this option was not available, which meant users could only send simple photos.

Create Themes and Backgrounds with AI

WhatsApp already has chat themes, but now users will be able to create their own custom themes. Users can create themes of their own, from minimalist to artistic, or playful. Similarly, AI can also be used to create backgrounds for video calls and chats. This feature is being rolled out in a phased manner, so it may take some time to become available to all users.

In-App Document Scanning

Android users will now have the option to scan documents within WhatsApp. After scanning, they can crop, save, or send the document within the app. This feature was already available for iOS users, but now it will be available on Android as well.

Searching Groups Will Be Easier

Sometimes, due to the large number of groups added, it becomes difficult to find the group to chat with, requiring users to constantly scroll through the process. To address this issue, a new feature is now available. Users will simply need to type a contact's name into the search bar, which will then display all the groups that contact is in.
