WhatsApp: Busy at work? WhatsApp's 'Remind Me' feature will remind you of old messages; here's how to use it..
If someone sends you a message on WhatsApp and you're currently busy with something else, the instant messaging service's 'Remind Me' feature can be useful in reminding you of the message. WhatsApp rolled out the new Remind Me feature to beta testers earlier this year, and it's still in testing. However, it's likely to reach everyone soon. You'll soon be able to set reminders for texts you've already read and want to talk to later. Meta's proprietary platform shows a list of preset intervals for this. However, you can also set a custom time and date for the reminder.
If you're using the recently released beta version of WhatsApp for iOS or Android smartphones, here's a step-by-step guide to help you set a message reminder in WhatsApp. This functionality may soon be rolled out to all users.
How to set a message reminder in WhatsApp?
Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Long-press the Send button on the right side of the text message box.
Then tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the screen.
Click the Remind Me button.
WhatsApp will display a pop-up window with four preset timer options: In 2 hours, In 8 hours, In 24 hours, or Custom.
Choose one of the preset options or set a custom reminder.
(Optional) If you want to set a custom reminder, tap Custom > select a date and time for the reminder.
