Use ChatGPT Plus without spending a single rupee; free trial rolled out in India—here’s how to claim it..

ChatGPT is one of the most widely used AI tools in the world. It offers a host of features such as text generation, original image creation, code generation, website development, and data analysis. The tool provides various subscription options, including a free version with limited access, as well as Go, Pro, and Plus plans. OpenAI is now offering a free one-month ChatGPT Plus subscription to select users in India for a limited time. If you were considering the Plus plan but were unsure if its features would be useful to you, this opportunity could prove very helpful. It allows you to try out the extra features yourself before spending any money. Let’s find out how you can claim this free one-month ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Free ChatGPT Plus: Things to consider before claiming
Before looking at the process to claim the free ChatGPT Plus subscription, keep one important point in mind: not every user may be eligible for this offer. The company has not yet clarified whether the offer is exclusively for new users or extends to existing ones as well. Furthermore, the situation remains unclear regarding whether users who already have an active ChatGPT Go subscription can claim this offer.

If you already have an active 12-month free ChatGPT Go subscription and see an option to upgrade to ChatGPT Plus for free, proceed with caution. Upgrading to Plus could result in the termination of your current 12-month free Go plan. Additionally, you might be charged the regular subscription fee once the free one-month Plus period ends.

It is worth noting that when we checked accounts—both new ones and those with the 12-month free Go plan—we did not immediately see this offer. This free offer might be rolling out in phases. So, if you don't see it in your account right now, it could become available to you later.

How to claim free ChatGPT Plus?
If you want to check whether you have received the free ChatGPT Plus offer, follow these simple steps:

First, open the ChatGPT website or app.
Log in to your account.
Tap on your profile photo and select 'Upgrade plan'.
Check if you see a 'Claim Free Offer' button below the ChatGPT Plus card.

If the button is visible, click on it and complete the payment verification process. Once completed, your free ChatGPT Plus subscription will be activated immediately.
Tip: Users who do not wish to continue the service after one month should cancel the subscription before the 30-day period ends to avoid being charged.

What are the benefits of ChatGPT Plus?
With the ChatGPT Plus subscription, users get significantly faster responses and higher usage limits compared to the free version and the 'Go' plan. Additionally, it offers premium features such as better memory for long conversations, advanced tools for writing and coding, and access to video creation capabilities.
