WhatsApp is now preparing to expand this to three accounts. Reports indicate that signs of this change have appeared in WhatsApp beta version 26.37.10.15. This update is currently being made available for testing via TestFlight.

If this feature is released, users will be able to use three different numbers within a single WhatsApp app. The chat, notifications, and settings for the third account will also remain distinct from the other accounts.

Currently, users managing three numbers often rely on extra phones or alternatives like WhatsApp Business. If WhatsApp rolls out support for three accounts to all users, the need for such workarounds may decrease.
