UPI PIN Setup: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has made significant changes to several UPI-related rules. Starting today, October 8th, payments using face and fingerprint without entering a PIN, and the ability to easily reset a PIN without an ATM card if you forget your UPI PIN, have been implemented. Many times, we forget our UPI PIN after creating it, and are then asked to reset it using our ATM card details or Aadhaar OTP. Now, the National Payments Corporation of India has relieved people of this hassle.

People's experience will be better than before.

You will no longer need an ATM card or Aadhaar OTP; you will be able to set and reset your UPI PIN using Aadhaar-linked biometrics. To improve the user experience, NPCI has introduced a new authentication feature.

Why are five Nobel Prizes awarded in Sweden and the Peace Prize in Norway?
According to India TV, NPCI will now offer users the option of UIDAI face authentication to set and reset UPI PINs, which will serve as an alternative to card credentials and Aadhaar OTP. This new feature will be especially beneficial for those who don't have their ATM card with them when resetting their PIN. Sometimes, the ATM card is at home, but they need to reset their UPI PIN.

Every person's face is unique, which is why the government has implemented a system that will be impossible to hack to protect the public from fraudsters. It's not just about PIN resets; frauds often occur through UPI, causing financial losses. Overall, the government has announced significant changes to UPI rules, taking into account several factors.
