Two great Jio plans: Get YouTube Premium access; prices start at just ₹200..
Reliance Jio has introduced two prepaid plans specifically designed for entertainment enthusiasts. The standout feature of these plans is the inclusion of a YouTube Premium subscription at no extra cost, alongside access to various popular OTT platforms.
The company offers one plan priced at ₹200 and another at ₹500. Both have a validity of 28 days, but their benefits cater to different types of users.
Who is the ₹200 Jio plan for?
Jio's ₹200 prepaid plan is an excellent choice for users who primarily require extra data and OTT content. This plan offers a total of 30GB of high-speed data over a 28-day period, working out to a daily cost of approximately ₹7.14. It is a data-only plan, meaning it does not include calling or SMS facilities; however, it is highly compelling in terms of entertainment.
With this recharge, users gain access to 15 OTT platforms, including YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition, JioHotstar, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Lionsgate Play, Hoichoi, and Chaupal. Additionally, users can watch over 1,000 live TV channels via JioTV.
The ₹500 plan offers a comprehensive entertainment package
If you are looking for an all-in-one package that covers data, calling, and OTT services, the ₹500 plan offers greater value. This plan provides 2GB of data daily for 28 days, resulting in a total data allowance of 56GB. It also includes unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day.
Regarding OTT benefits, this plan also includes access to YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition, JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Discovery+, Sun NXT, and several other platforms. Additionally, Jio is offering extra benefits with this plan, such as an 18-month Google Gemini Pro subscription, 5TB of cloud storage, and 50GB of JioAICloud storage.
Which plan should you choose?
Both plans include YouTube Premium. If you already have an active base plan and simply want OTT content along with extra data, the ₹200 plan is the better choice.
However, if you are looking for a comprehensive package that includes data, unlimited calling, SMS, and premium OTT platforms, the ₹500 plan offers better value—especially for users who want both entertainment and telecom services in a single recharge.
