Truecaller Update: Truecaller has launched this 'magical' feature, and it's free for all users. Here's how to use it..
Truecaller Voicemail Feature: Sometimes, due to being busy, we miss calls, and then we wonder what the other person wanted to talk about. Now, with this new feature, you won't have to rack your brains thinking about it, because Truecaller has launched a new and amazing feature for its users called Voicemail. This new feature allows users with Android smartphones to receive and read transcribed voice messages from missed calls.
What are the benefits of the Truecaller Voicemail Feature?
In simple terms, this means that if you are unable to receive a call, the other person can send you a voicemail. The message sent in the voicemail will be converted into text using AI. The special thing is that this converted text message will be received by users in their preferred language.
One thing to note here is that this feature is currently available for free to all users. This means that even those who don't have a premium subscription can now use this feature. Truecaller Premium users are eligible for an upgraded experience through Truecaller Assistant. The voicemail feature offers spam filtering and also allows users to adjust the playback speed. It also supports AI-powered transcription in 12 Indian languages.
Voicemail Benefits and Language Support
Truecaller claims that the voicemail feature stores messages directly on the user's device, providing complete control and privacy over the recordings. It includes features such as smart call categorization, spam filtering, and adjustable playback speed. Additionally, this feature provides AI-powered transcription in 12 Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Nepali, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Punjabi, and Urdu.
What is the difference between Free and Premium? Truecaller has confirmed that premium users will get an enhanced Truecaller Assistant feature, which answers calls, interacts with callers, and offers personalized greetings and advanced call handling capabilities.
Note:
To use the voicemail feature, call forwarding must be enabled on your mobile number. Once set up, it may take some time for voicemail transcriptions to appear. All messages can be accessed from the Voicemail tab in the app. Users must have the latest version of the Truecaller app to use this feature.
