Traveling will become even easier with this app; now, everything from Metro tickets to autos and cabs can be booked in a single place..
Delhi Metro is continuously working to make the commute easier for its passengers. Keeping passenger convenience in mind, the DMRC has updated its 'Sarthi' (Momentum 2.0 Sarthi) app. Now, Metro QR tickets, DTC bus tickets, and auto-cabs can all be booked through a single app. This updated app also features options for recharging via UPI and utilizing a Virtual Smart Card, making the journey even more convenient.
With the update to the Sarthi app, passengers can now book bike-taxis and auto-rickshaws—facilitating 'first and last-mile' connectivity—simultaneously with their Metro tickets, all within a single transaction. To enable this feature, the DMRC has partnered with companies such as Rapido and Sheru.
**Booking Process**
You can now book a vehicle for your initial and final destinations at the very moment you book your Metro ticket, thereby eliminating the need to use multiple separate apps.
**Virtual Smart Card**
The Delhi Metro Virtual Smart Card is a digital card that resides on your smartphone. It functions exactly like a physical plastic card, allowing you to travel on the Metro without the need for a physical card or token. This eliminates the need to stand in queues and also entitles you to discounts on your commute.
**Combined Ticketing for Noida and Delhi Metro**
The Sarthi app will now offer QR tickets for both the Delhi Metro and the Noida Metro.
**One App, Multiple Functions**
