Google has introduced new travel planning features to its AI-powered search mode. Users can now leverage AI to monitor flight prices and receive email alerts when rates change. Additionally, they can view the number of points or miles required for flights and hotels. Google is also enabling hotel searches and bookings through this AI mode, helping users save money on everything from flights to accommodations.

**How ​​to track flight prices**
Google is integrating the popular price-tracking feature from Google Flights directly into its AI search mode. Users can simply specify their destination and travel dates within the AI ​​mode to track flight prices. Once tracking begins, Google will send email notifications regarding any price fluctuations. According to Google, the AI ​​mode can display real-time flight prices from over 300 airlines and travel websites. This flight price-tracking feature is available in more than 180 countries and regions.

The AI ​​mode can now also indicate the number of reward points or miles needed for specific flights or hotels. Users can ask Google AI for details regarding non-stop flights and the corresponding miles required through specific reward programs. This functionality extends to hotel bookings as well. Google states that this feature is available globally, with initial support for Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels International, Hilton, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Support for Accor, Flying Blue, Hyatt, LATAM Airlines, and the Lufthansa Group will be added soon.

**Book hotels via AI mode**
Google is also adding hotel booking capabilities to its AI mode. Users can view options by specifying their destination, travel dates, and hotel preferences. The AI ​​mode will display hotel listings along with reviews and other essential information. After selecting their preferred hotel, users will be able to complete the booking through an integrated partner using the ‘Continue on Google’ option. Payments can be made securely via Google Pay. Currently, the AI-mode hotel booking feature is being rolled out in the US in English.
