WhatsApp Scheduled Messages: Finally, WhatsApp is preparing to introduce the feature that users have been waiting for years. WhatsApp is developing a new feature that allows users to schedule their messages. WhatsApp is working on releasing this feature soon in a future update. Scheduled messages allow users to type any message, select a specific date and time, and the message will automatically be sent at that scheduled time. Scheduled messages allow users to send greetings, set reminders, or send messages they don't want to forget—all of these tasks can be accomplished very easily. These scheduled messages wait until the time to send them arrives. Once the scheduled time arrives, they automatically reach the receiver without any further action from the user.

How is this feature useful?

For example, if you need to wish a friend, relative, colleague, or other person a happy birthday but don't want to stay up until midnight, simply type a scheduled message on WhatsApp and save it. This message will arrive at midnight for the intended recipient. This feature is currently in testing, and WABetaInfo's official handle has already posted information and news about it. Although WhatsApp hasn't yet announced a date, it's expected that this feature will be rolled out soon for both Android and iOS users.

Where will these messages appear?

Once a message is scheduled, WhatsApp will display it in the right corner of the dedicated section of the chat info screen, as seen in this image.

Here, users will have the option to view and manage all their scheduled messages. It's important to note that users will have complete control over these scheduled messages. For example, once scheduled, users can delete a message until it's sent. No notification of such a message deletion will be sent to the receiver, as the scheduled message has already been deleted before delivery.
Note that this feature is expected to work in both individual and group chats. In group chats, users can schedule messages for specific content and announcements. Currently, there's no news on WhatsApp channels, but it's believed that scheduled updates will be included in the future.
