Telegram services in India are gradually returning to normal following a temporary ban. The messaging platform is once again available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and many users have confirmed that there are no longer issues with sending or receiving messages.

However, some users are still facing problems such as chats failing to load, messages not sending, or the app malfunctioning. The good news is that, in most cases, a quick app update or a simple refresh can resolve these issues.
What to do if the app isn't working?

If Telegram isn't working properly on your Android phone, first check the Google Play Store to see if a new update is available.

If an update is available, install it. Next, go to your phone's Settings, open the 'Apps' section, select Telegram, and tap on 'Force Stop'.

Now, reopen the app and wait a few seconds. This allows Telegram to re-establish a connection with its servers, which may resolve the issue.

What should iPhone users do?
iPhone users should also start by updating Telegram via the App Store. Afterward, open the App Switcher, close Telegram completely, and then relaunch it. This method has worked for many users, allowing the app to function normally again.
With the restoration of services, Telegram is once again available to many users across the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and its official website.
During the ban, the app could not be downloaded, causing inconvenience for new users and those trying to reinstall it.

In fact, authorities had instructed internet service providers to temporarily block Telegram due to concerns regarding the dissemination of content related to the NEET-UG re-examination. This caused a temporary disruption to the platform's services.
Although standard messaging services are returning to normal, Telegram's message editing feature may remain disabled until June 30, in accordance with previously issued directives.
If Telegram is still not working correctly on your phone, try updating the app, closing it completely, and reopening it. In most cases, the problem can resolve on its own.
