Gone are the days when anyone could just pick up your phone and view your payment history. Paytm has launched a groundbreaking feature called "Hide Payments"! Now, you can select any UPI transaction and make it disappear from the main list. The transaction isn't deleted; it's simply moved to a separate, secure location. The company says that nowadays, multiple members of a family share the same phone, so users have repeatedly requested such privacy. In response to customer demand, the company has added this new and unique feature to its app.

Just one swipe, and the expense is hidden.
This Paytm feature is incredibly easy to use. First, go to the "Balance and History" section, swipe left on the transaction you want to hide—the "Hide" option will appear. After a confirmation, it's done! Paytm claims it's the only one offering this unique feature in the entire UPI market. This means that Google Pay and PhonePe users will have to wait.

Recovering payments is just as easy.
If you need to unhide this hidden payment later, there's no need to worry. Tap 'View Hidden Payments' in the three-dot menu at the top. Enter your phone's PIN or fingerprint, and a list of all hidden transactions will open. Simply swipe left to unhide the one you want to restore—it's just a matter of two seconds!

This amazing feature is coming with Paytm's latest update, which is currently being rolled out to all users in phases. If it's not visible on your phone yet, please wait a bit. Overall, Paytm has proven its deep understanding of the nuances of Indian users. Now, whether it's a girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, or husband—whoever checks the payment—your privacy will be completely safe!
