Tech Tips: It is often observed that people use high graphics and frame rates while gaming.
Tech Tips: Smartphones have become devices capable of handling almost all our daily tasks. Modern, advanced smartphones come packed with features that allow users to easily manage most of their activities right from the device. There is also a huge craze for smartphones among the youth and children; specifically, they often spend hours playing their favorite online games, which frequently causes the phone to overheat. That is why today we are sharing some methods to ensure your device stays cool, even during long gaming sessions.
Remove the phone cover
People often use covers on their smartphones. If your phone has a thick silicone or rubber case, it is best to remove it temporarily while gaming. This is because keeping the cover on can trap heat inside, causing the device to heat up rapidly.
Use balanced settings
It is common for people to use high graphics and frame rates while gaming, but doing so places a heavy load on the phone. Unless you are using a flagship device, it is better to play on 'Balanced' or 'Medium' settings rather than 'Ultra Graphics' or '120 FPS'. This reduces the strain on the processor and helps the phone stay cool for longer.
Close unnecessary apps
Before you start gaming on your smartphone, make sure to close all apps running in the background. This prevents background apps from consuming battery power and helps keep the phone from heating up quickly.
Avoid gaming while charging.
It is common to see people plug their phones in to charge and continue gaming when the battery runs low. Doing this is a bad idea. This is because doing so places a heavy load on the phone's battery, causing it to heat up rapidly. Moreover, it also reduces the battery's lifespan.
