Albinder Dhindsa, CEO of Blinkit (a subsidiary of its parent company, Eternal), shared this update on the social media platform X. He noted that deliveries of the iPhone Duo commenced on Blinkit at 8:15 AM on October 23. At present, this service is available exclusively to customers in the Delhi-NCR region.

All available units were sold within minutes of the sale going live. According to Dhindsa, the entire stock was exhausted in just 5 minutes. He further mentioned that Blinkit is working to make more units available in the coming weeks. Consequently, customers who were unable to secure a device in this initial round may need to wait for the next shipment.

First week’s stock in India also sold out
The demand for the iPhone Duo extends beyond just Blinkit. According to a PTI report dated October 22, Apple had already sold out its entire stock allocated for the first week in India even before the official sale began. The report highlighted that the highest number of pre-bookings were recorded at Apple Stores located in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and New Delhi’s Saket, with both locations seeing a roughly equal volume of bookings.
