Snapchat, a favorite app of today's generation, has announced that Memories storage will now require payment. Previously, this feature was free for 10 years. Memories stores your photos and videos. Until now, you could save up to 5GB of your data for free. If this limit is exceeded, you'll need to either export the data or subscribe to one of Snapchat's new Memories Storage plans. These plans are similar to storage plans like Google Drive or iCloud.

You have two options, but if you have a lot of photos and videos, it may take time.

Batch downloading Memories...
Snapchat lets you download up to 100 photos/videos directly to your phone at once. If there are more, you'll have to do this repeatedly.

Steps:
Open Snapchat and click the Memories icon next to the camera button.
Tap Select at the top right of the screen and select 100 Memories.
Click the Share icon at the bottom right.

Select Download - your Memories will be saved to the Camera Roll.

Downloading Snapchat Data via Email
If downloading in batches is difficult, you can download all the data via email.

Steps:
Open Snapchat and click your Profile in the top left.
Tap the Settings icon in the top right and select My Data under Privacy Controls.
Select Memories and Other Media, HTML Files, and JSON Files. Select other options only if you also want chat history or other data.
Tap Next and select the Memories from the time period you want to download. Select All Time if you want to download everything.
Confirm your email address and click on Submit.
